A bridge literally bridges the gap created by missing teeth. It allows us to replace the missing tooth/teeth by using the teeth on either side of the gap as anchors and suspending a porcelain tooth between to fill the space. Bridges are basically two crowns with one or more replacement teeth connected in between. Bridges are non-removable.
