At East Milton Dental we offer both traditional dentures as well as implant supported or retained dentures. We pride ourselves on providing our denture patients with the most comfortable and realistic looking false teeth possible. We examine each patient individually to determine the best procedure for his or her particular case. The Altadontic dentures are an option for many, which reduces the number of goopy impressions and dentures can be “cloned”. Cloning of a denture allows us to make and retain a mold of the denture so it can be remade in the future. This is great for elderly patients comfortable with their current denture or patients that frequently lose their dentures.

Patients that find wearing dentures uncomfortable or wish to have more stability and retention may benefit from implant supported or retained dentures. Dental implants are placed into the jawbones and then dentures are attached to them. Implant supported dentures actually snap in and are removed nightly for cleaning. With implant retained dentures the actual denture is screwed into the dental implants and can only be removed by the dentist.
