Many people suffer with an undiagnosed TMJ disorder. TMJ symptoms can vary greatly and can be very difficult to diagnose. They may include any or all of the following symptoms:
- Teeth grinding or clenching
- Sore teeth (especially upon waking in the morning)
- Toothache with no evidence of decay, infection, or trauma
- Jaw joint pain, clicking, popping or grating noises
- Limited movement or opening of the jaws or locking of the jaws
- Migraines
- Head, neck, shoulder and back aches
- Sinus, eye or ear pain
- Ear ringing
- Dizziness
- Gum recession around your teeth
If you have one or more of these symptoms, and an underlying medical condition has not been diagnosed, you may be suffering from TMJ Disorder.
